- Dragging uses a special brush to remove we
glaze from a surface. Long, steady
strokes leave the appearance of vertical lines on a wall.
- Ragging creates a look similar to plush leather
or soft faded chambray by
either applying or removing glaze with a rag or cloth. - Sponging can create a subtle statement by
applying a glaze that’s no more
than two shades deeper than the base color. Use a more drastic difference
or extra glaze colors for more drama. - Striping is a tone-on-tone technique that
creates pure sophistication and
elegance in a space. - Venetian Plaster gives you a marble-like effect
and is applied with a trowel
using light and dark shades of the same color. More layers add more depth.
